2023 Fall Sturling Schedules:
These are the Advantages of playing Sturling Curling…
- You only need two players to form a team – register as a team or an individual and we will put teams together. If you cannot play you must find a Spare.
- Only 6 ends are played, each player stays at opposite ends for the entire game taking turns delivering 6 rocks and skipping, alternating with their opposition.
- It takes less than an hour to play a game, two 1 hour games are scheduled back to back for each league.
- Limited sweeping: relies more on shot making
- Use traditional slide delivery OR throw with the delivery stick (provided)
- Great way to improve upon your delivery and reading the ice.
- Fall League and Spring League offered, you can register for both or one or the other.

Sturling Curling League Information
- Friday Morning League – two 1-hour games back to back from 10AM – 11:00AM & 11:00AM – 12:00PM
- Friday Afternoon League – two 1-hour games back to back from 1:00PM – 2:00PM & 2:00PM – 3:00PM
- Must Purchase a Chestermere Community Membership – Senior Single (65 +) $44.00, Senior Family $64.00, Family $85.50, Single $58.75
- Curling IMF fee owed to CCA to send to Curling Alberta – $13 (only required once per season per person no matter how many leagues or clubs you are registered in).
- Curling Fees owed to CCA per person – $100 for Fall League and – $100 for Spring League. Eight games guaranteed per League.
- If we have enough interest to fill a morning draw and an afternoon draw (24 players), the cost would be $100 for each draw. If you have paid $100 for the Fall or Spring League, you would be allowed to Spare for free in the second draw during the Fall OR Spring League that you are Registered in.
You may choose to Register for a session before Christmas and/or after Christmas.

Evening Sturling League Possibility:
We also have an option to play in the Evening, but only if there happens to be a weeknight that has only one draw in our Regular Leagues. Last Season the options would have been Wednesday, Thursday or Friday evening.
If we have an opening on an evening for this league it would be one game running from 9:00 pm till 10:00 pm with a maximum of 12 people registered.
We would offer an Evening Fall League and a Spring League with Eight games guaranteed for the price of $50 per League.
