Weeknight League Registration Information
Our season will begin with Exhibition games starting on Monday, October 7, 2024 and will run until March 2025. Draws will be held at 6:45 PM and 9:00 PM each evening for leagues with more than 7 teams. For leagues with 7 teams or less there will only be a 7:00 PM draw with byes in leagues with an odd number of teams.
How to Register your “Intent to Play” (Please read carefully):
- Returning Teams: One player from your team must Register your “Intent to Play” by August 25th to secure your spot for the upcoming season. You only need 2 names on the form to be considered a returning team in the league you played in last year and will have until final registration to fill your team.
- New Teams: One player from your team can also Register their “Intent to Play” starting July 25. As returning teams will be allowed to register first, all NEW Teams will be put on the waitlist in the order they are received. You can register with only 2 names on the form and will have until final registration to fill your team.
- After the August 25th DEADLINE, waitlist teams will be contacted on a first come, first served basis to fill any open spots.
- FEES ARE NOT DUE until Mid-September: $1100.00/team ($275 per person for each of the 4 key players plus additional fees as outlined below). If you have a 5th and 6th player registered, your team can decide how to split up the fees.
- Final Registration: In Mid-September, each player will be required to Complete Registration and sign a Liability Waiver using the Curling I/O Program. Email instructions will be sent out to the Team Contact on how to complete this registration and how to submit your fees by e-transfer or cheque.
- If you are missing a player, please email info@chestermerecurling.com with the league you are in and what position needs to be filled. We will do our best to help you find a suitable player to round out your roster.
Additional Fees:
- CCA will collect the Curling Alberta/Canada Fee of $17.00/person if you have not already paid this fee through another club. (this fee is only paid once per year regardless of how many clubs/leagues you play in)
- Each player (including 5th and 6th players) must purchase a CRCA Community Membership prior to the start of curling. We highly recommend purchasing your membership as soon as possible. Click HERE for Community Membership Information and Online Purchasing.
