The idea behind the community membership is a user fee to help support the maintenance of the Recreation Centre. This includes the Ice Arenas, Soccer Fields, Ball Diamonds, Curling Arena and the general up keep of the Centre. It also helps fund our many recreation programs and events offered here at the Recreation Centre. The membership offers benefits such as complimentary public skating 3 days per week, weekly Shinny times, and also allows you to participate in any of our recreation programs at a discounted rate. The membership period runs from July 1 to June 30. We do not prorate the membership fee.
Membership Benefits:
- A 20% discount on hourly facility rentals (parties, showers, team gatherings and family events).
- An opportunity to participate in events and activities held at the Recreation Centre.
- Complimentary scheduled Shinny Hockey (Once per week).
- Complimentary scheduled Public Skating (Three times per week).
- Complimentary Saturday practice ice will be available for CRCA members (who are also members of Curling Alberta) from 1 – 3 p.m. for no charge.
- Discounts on recreation program registration (Save $25 off each program).

To purchase your 2023/2024 Community Membership online, please follow the steps below:

** NOTE: If the email is already in our system, (many account profiles have been inputted already) it won’t allow you to create a new account. That’s when you must click “Forgot password” and the system will email you a new password and a change option.
*Once purchased the system will email and let us (CRCA) know that a membership has been purchased and we will then assign you a number and email that back to you. If purchase is outside business hours (9-5pm Mon-Fri), you must wait until the next business day to get the number assignment. The membership number will show as a “Barcode” number on the email confirmation. A card is no longer needed and a person can just refer to their email for their number when needed.
